The descending aorta is a massive artery in the deep well of the gut that brings blood flow to the pelvis, viscera, and legs. In this class we use SATYA, belly bolsters, and twists to stretch and tone the abdomen and increase blood flow into the lower limbs.

Underlying our teaching is that we do not do poses for the sake of the pose, but for the quality of the attention within the pose.
