In this class we build strength in the distal “arches” of the hands and feet.
We lift the arches of the feet (pada bandha) to support the hip joints and pelvis and strengthen the hands (hasta bandha) to support the shoulders and trunk in weight bearing poses like plank, dog, and handstand.
We do movements to mobilize the arms in order to free up restrictions in the shoulders.
In this class we use gestural hand patterns in order to enhance the internal flow of prana inside.
In this class we return to source by exploring the “roots” of the feet and hands in all poses.
In this class we explore variations of upward dog and downward dog while bringing elasticity to the hands, wrists, and shoulders.
This class is a 90 minute dive to support and mobilize the hands, wrists, and forearms.
Because the wrists are the foundation for all weight bearing postures on the arms, we devote the practice to hand, thumb, forearm, and wrist mobilization.
In this class we balance the complex of muscles and tendons that hold the shoulder in place.
